Tien Shinhanself-inflicted death / transfer of life
After being critically wounded by Nappa, Tien declares his intention to follow Chiaotzu, fires one final Tri-Beam, and expires. This is classified as an act in which he uses up his own life; the injuries inflicted earlier by Nappa are also noted. It is not added to Nappa's direct kill count.
Tien is confirmed alive immediately after the Human Extinction Attack. He later helps Gohan and the others, still groans after being kicked, and is described by Goku as being down. He is not among those who escape Earth, so this record treats him as an individual within the victims of Earth's destruction. It links his survival before the event with the planet's destruction rather than depicting his individual moment of death. He is not added on top of the group's victim count.
Included in an aggregate record for the same incident. This detail is shown separately but is not counted again.
Porunga’s revival wish is matched with Tien’s confirmed living appearance in Chapter 517. He is an individual within the group killed when Earth was destroyed and is not duplicated in another revival group.
Included in an aggregate record for the same incident. This detail is shown separately but is not counted again.
