Cell Trunks (Cell's Alternate Future)

Cell says that in the future he came from, he killed Trunks and stole his time machine. This Trunks is distinct both from the Future Trunks who came to the present and from that character's death during the Cell Games.

Cell Ginger Town Residents Absorbed by Cell

News reports state that more than 15,000 residents disappeared, and Piccolo later explains that Cell killed them by absorbing them. The exact death toll is unknown. The wealthy man of the town is included. Reporters and investigators who arrived after the disappearances are not added to this approximate resident count.

Cell Investigators and Media Personnel Absorbed in Ginger Town

These are the investigators and news personnel absorbed after arriving at the site following the residents' disappearance. The judgment is based on the gunshots and screams heard during a live broadcast before it cuts out, the matching jacket, camera, and gun left at the scene, the depiction of the wealthy man being absorbed until only his clothes remain, and the subsequent explanation that Cell killed people. Each lethal attack occurs off-panel, and neither the death of every person nor their number is confirmed. These arrivals are separate from the Ginger Town residents who disappeared earlier and from the wealthy man, and they are not added to the approximate count of more than 15,000 residents.

Cell Townspeople Absorbed by Cell After He Left Ginger Town

After leaving Ginger Town and before confronting Android 17, Cell moves from town to town absorbing people. The evidence includes Cell saying he is heading to another town, a town where only clothing remains, a report that more than half the residents of a large town at South District 48 were killed, and an explanation that he obtained energy by killing humans. “District 48” identifies a location; it does not mean 48 separate towns. The boundaries of each town and the exact number of victims remain unidentified. News reports of hundreds of thousands of cumulative victims may include earlier attacks, so that estimate is not assigned as the size of this group. Ginger Town residents, investigators and reporters, and the later island residents, Royal Defense Force, and Trunks are excluded from this group.

Android 17's death and revival: distinguishing speculation from a later living appearance

Piccolo speculates that it would not be surprising if the wish to revive those killed by Cell had brought Android 17 back as well. Android 17 is later confirmed to be active, but this explanation alone does not establish whether or when a death and revival occurred. Absorption is not equated with death, and no confirmed death or revival record is added.

The deaths of Androids 17 and 18 are unconfirmed in Cell's alternate future

Cell says that Androids 17 and 18 were no longer present in his future and speculates that Trunks may have defeated them. The use of a shutdown device also remains hypothetical. Their absence is not converted into confirmed deaths, and this timeline is not merged with the other future in which Trunks returns and kills them.
